This protocol is recommended for 10 sessions, one per week for 10 weeks. This protocol pairs beautifully with facial cupping and gua sha, which should be booked separately in the hour following your session for optimal results. This appointment should be booked separately for one hour after your facial rejuvenation session.

This non-surgical collagen induction therapy (CIT)/microneedling is a skin rejuvenation treatment used to achieve smoother, more toned skin.  Research has shown that four microneedling sessions produced up to a 400% increase in collagen and elastin six months after treatment.  Microneedling is considered safe for darker skin tones, thin, and sensitive skin.

This microneedling protocol uses a pen-type device and is a series of four treatments spaced one month apart. This session includes a full-body acupuncture treatment to assist with fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, acne, scarring, and other common skin concerns. Maintenance treatments are recommended to maintain good results, but they are dependent on the skin concern and will be discussed during the initial appointment.

Gua Sha can be used on the face and neck to release the myofascial tension that can contribute to deep wrinkles and acne scarring. Gua Sha uses a flat stone tool to manually drain stagnant lymph fluid that causes facial puffiness and inflammation, increase microcirculation to alleviate jaw and neck tension/pain, improve facial contours, and promote skin healing. Herbal medicinals reduce fine lines and wrinkles, diminish the appearance of blemishes and dark spots, and refine pores.

Cups are applied using suction, but it is much gentler than body cupping, and the cups are always being moved, guiding the flow of blood and lymph. This treatment is great for relaxing tension, reducing puffiness, and stimulating circulation and collagen production.  It is a great treatment for sinus congestion, including ear congestion and pain.
